Spent Nuclear Fuel Disposal

Our researchers, designers and engineers have made it possible to build ONKALO®. ONKALO® is an underground research institute for studying the bedrock of the disposal area. Later, the research institute was expanded by Posiva Oy to become the world’s first deep geological spent nuclear fuel disposal facility.

Our long-term customers trust us. Our mission is to help other similar operators succeed by providing leading excellence and consulting services in collaboration with our partners.
